Hello thanks for stopping by, my name is Calvin Burkhart and I have always been fascinated with computers and technology. From an early age of 9, opening my favorite cereals to grab the latest free CD Rom Game and quickly installing… You see for me it started with video games, by age 13 I was hosting 100 player FPS games globally off my custom built machine. Quickly I had to learn how to prevent bad actors from attacking the server. They would do this to steal information, inject hacks into my server so that they could cheat in tournaments, and other nefarious acts to take control of the server. 

I consider myself forever a student since there is always something one can learn from an encounter, experience, or people in their lives. I was fortunate to travel the world being that my mom served our country, and I always had a computer. Went to High School and College in San Diego, CA absolutely loved it. Left California and have traveled around the USA eventually landing in Colorado Springs, CO after meeting my wife in Columbus, OH. I am a father of 2 very smart children who are fortunate to be able to spend time with both of their parents every day since I work from home, and have been for over 6 years as of writing this. 

So Why King Crab Hosting?

For the last 6 years I’ve helped hundreds of businesses succeed online with Website Building, Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click Ads, Social Media Marketing. Oddly enough it brings me joy to serve others and to help people I love succeed in business. I also help to coach on weekly live Website Development workshops and help other agency owners get through any barriers or malfunctions that they are facing with their website. At a certain point (after around 11,000 websites or so…) I decided to start my own VPS Hosting company.

I have built WordPress Websites for over 20 years now and have changed my methods many times over the years to keep up with technology advancements. When building this VPS Hosting company I kept WordPress best practices in mind and geared the server to perform exceptionally well for WordPress built websites. I aim to serve Secure, Fast, and Reliable VPS Hosting Solutions that companies can grow with.
